The Delta is the meeting of the waters, where the Paraná and Uruguay Rivers join and fabulously rich ecosystem and supports the largest migrations of baitfish – sábalo, pejerrey and sardines all of which are the main food source of dorado, as well as other predatory fish, such as the chafalote (Paraná river payara fish), palometa, surubi (big catfish), pira pitá, wolf fish, and pacu.
