Rio Marié Fishing Report

Week #5 (September 14 – 21, 2025)

This was a week of mobility and strategy, with the Untamed Amazon navigating to the upper reaches of the Marié in search of optimal conditions.

Some days demanded persistence, but the reward came in the form of exceptional fish size and unforgettable moments.

Two fish over 90 cm were landed — including a historic milestone for the Marié: the youngest angler ever to land a peacock bass of this size on fly gear. Even more special, both brothers shared this achievement in the same week — proving once again that the Marié is truly the River of Giants.

WEATHER CONDITION
ostly sunny days defined the week, with average water temperatures around 27 °C (80 °F).

RIVER CONDITIONS
The river rose slightly early in the week but started dropping again by the end, creating dynamic yet favorable conditions.
