2025 Rio Marié Fishing Report

Week #4 (Aug. 31 – Sep. 07, 2025)

Rme #4

This week brought a remarkable combination of experiences, as part of the group traveled to the Turi River—the Marié’s largest tributary—for the first headwaters camp adventure of the season. There, anglers were rewarded with untouched lagoons, wild landscapes, and encounters with giants.

Meanwhile, those fishing from the mothership found equally memorable action. Dropping water levels made fish more accessible, setting the incredible stage for 11 trophies over 20 lbs and several peacocks beyond the 80 cm (31.5 inch) mark.

The results spoke for themselves: a week full of powerful fish, dramatic battles, and stories that perfectly capture the River of Giants.
