Getting to Teton Valley Lodge
Teton Valley Lodge is located just outside the rural ranching community of Driggs, Idaho. The lodge is equidistant from the Jackson Hole, Wyoming, airport (JAC) and the Idaho Falls, Idaho, airport (IDA). Generally speaking commercial flights to Idaho Falls are less expensive than flying to Jackson Hole, WY.
If you have a private or chartered plane you can fly into Driggs, Idaho.
Airport Shuttles (rates can change at any time):
Prices are per vehicle trip.
Round Trip Idaho Falls (IDA) 1-4 guests = $325 (about 75-90 minutes each way depending on weather & construction)
Round Trip Jackson (JAC) 1-4 guests = $225 (about 60-75 minutes each way depending on weather & construction)
Round Trip Driggs airport 1-4 guests = $75 (15-20 min each way)
There is a $15 per person fee for more than 4 riders. They can take up to 8 people plus luggage in one vehicle. They do have several transport vehicles and can, and often do, combine vehicles for large groups. To be more efficient for large groups, arrival/departures occasionally a guest may have to leave TVL a little early or have a short wait at the airport until the next guest(s) arrive. They always let all the guests know what the shuttle schedule will be prior to their dates of travel.

Private aircraft and charters may land at the Driggs Reed Memorial Airport (KDIJ). From Driggs, the lodge will arrange for vehicle transfers to and from.

Note:If you would like to bring some flies you tied or some patterns that worked for you in the past, we highly recommend it. TVL guides carry with them all available Rods/Reels/tackle and a complete selection of the lodge’s entire inventory including their custom fly patterns and providing flies, leaders and terminal tackle is part of the package price of your stay.
Gratuities:
Gratuities are a personal decision based on services rendered. Normally, guides are tipped daily as you may have a different guide each day. We recommend that you trip your guide on a daily basis, somewhere in the nature of $100 – $150 per day, per boat/guide (usually shared between two anglers). For the lodge staff, (chefs, housekeeping, wait staff, etc.) we recommend $50 per day per person. If you have any questions concerning gratuities, please feel free to call or ask the lodge owner for guidelines.
As soon as you have your flight schedule finalized to Idaho please forward it to us at travel@theflyshop.com , so that we can coordinate your transfer to the lodge. If you are renting a car and driving to the lodge, detailed directions are above.

All major credit cards are accepted at Teton Valley Lodge.
Hunting and Fishing licenses:
You can purchase your Idaho fishing license at the lodge or you can save some time and purchase online in advance of your trip from Idaho Fish & Game.
Communications
Teton Valley Lodge located just outside of the town of Driggs, Idaho you can expect modern communications, including Wi-Fi at the lodge and all buildings on the property. Cell service is limited and is depend on your carrier. Sprint seems to provide a little better reception than other carriers.
Dining
Dining at Teton Valley Lodge is a five-star affair. You will savor the impeccably prepared cuisine by our three chefs and staff. Rich breakfasts and four-course dinners are served in the dining room, family-style. The dining room is a great place to share stories of the day’s conquests and build and cultivate friendships. Also available in the dining room are local microbrews on tap and an excellent wine list served with dinner.
Liquor:
The lodge will provide microbrews on tap and in the bottle along with wine at dinner. You are welcome to bring your own sprits and the lodge will provide all the mixers and plenty of ice.
