We held our 1st Annual Women’s Day (The Women’s Angle) in partnership with Trout Unlimited on September 23, 2018. This was an event for women taught by women. There was no fee for this, class sign-ups were through The Fly Shop®.

We won’t be having a Women’s Angle event in 2019 or 2020 (COVID), but will hopefully be bringing it back in 2021 with Trout Unlimited – Shasta Trinity Cascades and the Shasta Trinity Fly Fishers.
We were fortunate to have some amazing ladies come from all over the west coast to help get more women into this amazing sport and we can’t be more thankful to have had them. See presenters and bio’s below.

Gear & Goodies:
We also had all of the top fly fishing manufacturers (Simms, Patagonia, Umpqua, Echo, Airflo, Sage, Rio, Winston, Redington, Fishpond, Scott, Abel, Ross, Hatch, Loon, etc…) here with all of their gear to show. They also had their sizing kits with them. This was a great chance to see the newest products and get sized correctly for a better fishing experience.
