The Lower Sacramento River is one of the most productive tailwater trout fisheries in America and a great destination every month of the year!
The Trinity River is recognized as one of the finest fall and winter steelhead fisheries south of the Canadian border.
The Upper Sacramento is a blue-ribbon walk- and-wade stream. It is now open all year long, and easily accessible from Interstate 5.
The McCloud River rainbows are the most fa- mous trout on Earth, and its hefty browns are a fre- quent reward for any angler willing to work into the rugged river canyon water.
Hat Creek is renowned for great hatches and se- lective rainbows. It is home to the proverbial, excit- ing chess game of spring creek fly fishing.
Fall River is one of the largest spring creeks in the West, home to sophisticated fish, phenomenal hatches, limited access, and challenging action.
The Pit River is now open year ‘round,
and this rugged, classic canyon fishery has become a fast favorite in the spring and fall.
The Klamath River is famous for its spring stonefly hatches in the upper reaches, the fall run of “half pounders”in the lower river and it’s fast im- proving winter run of adult steelhead.
The Sacramento River, below Red Bluff is a terrific shad destination through most of June, and a fine fall steelhead fishery.
