Decades ago The Fly Shop
recognized that the demand for privacy and quality fishing had far
outstripped all but the most remote public resources.
With that in mind, we intensified
our commitment to the protection of existing resources, promotion
of catch-and-release regulations, and pushing the wild trout concept.
At the same time, we began looking for fishing spots where fly rodders
might enjoy quality, secluded fly fishing for a modest fee.
The Fly Shop searched for long-term
private leases of property (not previously accessible to the public),
and began offering fishing at several ranches, homes, and cabins
in our area along with exclusive access to a few select lakes and
trout streams.
Many have required painstaking
habitat improvement and restoration. Most, like the
Antelope Creek Ranch, Kutras Clear Creek Ranch, Bailey
Creek, Rock Creek Lake, Battle
Creek , Hat Creek Ranch, and Lake
Christine had been posted and off limits for decades. Only one,
Riverside Ranch, shares limited access
with the public. All are managed exclusively as catch-and-release
destinations, and we allow fly fishing only. Angling pressure is
intentionally kept very light on our private waters to ensure a
terrific fishing experience. These Private Waters are only available
through The Fly Shop. Call

immediately.
Antelope Creek Ranch The jewel in our necklace of private Northern
California fishing retreats. Great fishing, tasty food, and
superb accommodations.
Bollibokka Fly Fishing Club Bollibokka’s seven private miles
of the McCloud and the historic rustic charm of the Clubhouse,
Rock house, and Way Station offer not only some the best wild
trout fishing in America, but a truly unique and memorable
experience for fishermen, friends and families.
Bailey Creek Lodge This comfortable lodge is has a private,
fish-filled stream running past its back porch and an insect-rich
lake full of trophy trout just a short stroll away. The swimming
pool, hot tub, and fine food make it a wonderful retreat throughout
the season.
Riverside on Fall River The Fly Shop’s lovely, 4-bedroom
summer home
on the bank of one of the American west’s most private
spring creeks. Riverside is completely furnished and includes
boats and motors.
Clear Creek Ranch Private cabins and exclusive access to
over 6 miles of pristine mountain stream completely inaccessible
to the public and only 45 minutes from The Fly Shop.
Hat Creek Ranch Cozy housekeeping accommodations alongside
one of the most solitary sections of upper Hat Creek. It’s
an ideal family destination in the heart of the eastern Shasta/Burney
area.
One of our favorite local lakes with day-fishing
access and memorable hatches throughout the spring and summer,
and lots of beautiful brown and rainbow trout.
We are excited to be able to offer access to Luk Lake, formerly known as Coffe Cup Lake, a
great wintertime and springtime rainbow trout destination and year round bass fishery.
